IRIS By Lowes App showed IRIS Smart Hub Offline for over a week now

Not thrilled that the IRIS Smart Hub went offline after three hours verified all devices and new batteries installed worked. Downdetector.com for our ISP showed that our service was down. Mind you, we usually turn off the modem at night (unplugged) while the IRIS Smart Hub stayed plugged in to preserve the backup batteries. After a few days up to now, the App is still showing that the hub is Offline. Then someone suggested to use this Website*. I was able to login and view the sensors and other devices except unable to activate the light switch to come on or off, sigh! However, if it was able to view everything like the app does, then I should be able to connect to the hub. There is no way to reset/soft reboot the hub while out of town.

 

Yesterday, our ISP informed me that they are able to see our cable modem. We know that the hub did and should reconnect to the IRIS platform when the cable modem re-connects to the Internet. There has to be away for us to communicate with the hub when it is Ethernet wired directly into the cable modem. Any ideas?

If you an access your hub remotely using the iriswebportal, you should be able to reboot it as well.
