I can verify this as well. I recently moved and I left the CT101 with my old house. It worked fine in manual mode. You can still even set up schedules. In fact after a reset it starts a default energy saving schedule. It should maintain any schedule you already have setup after the shutdown, however.
I just verified with Samsung that the RTC IRIS thermostat is a "coming soon" addition to the Smartthings family - like several other IRIS sensors. They would not give me a date. I will probably use mine in the manual mode until they are added.
I would like to know too.... if the radio thermostat will continue to work after the shutdown? It was not on the approved list of devices that IRIS compensated you for, so it makes me think it will....anybody got answers?
