Iris Web Portal

Re: Iris Web Portal

Thank you for adding the Web Portal.   It was a feature in V1 that I liked and was upset that I could only use my phone app to control the system when you changed to V2.  Hope you get the ability to view the recorded clips and live feed soon.

Re: Iris Web Portal

I did that and it doesn't do anything. Below are all the things you cannot acces with the web portal and have to use the mobile app as it says. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I don't think so.

Climate

Manage this service using the Iris mobile app.

Doors & Locks

Home & Family

Re: Iris Web Portal

Ditto on the above, I am rather unsure on the static events monitoring - ie. CO Alarm should be ALWAYS ON regardless of the state of the system, Glass Break Sensor used to be always on and now I cannot get it to trigger no matter what.

It is very frustrating to see how little effort Lowe's is putting into this system. The unofficial one has many more features and is written by one person. The v1 system was also a lot better and should never have been retired.

I am thrilled that I am now able to view my camera on my computer. Not always having my cell phone on me when I am at my desk, I am able to see who is at the door before I decide to answer it. Thanks!

Re: Iris Web Portal

I've been waiting eagerly for the new dashboard at https://home.irisbylowes.com

The large scrollable screen is much more comprehensive than ios app.

I have found the biggest difference is in the controls under "Cameras" at  https://home.irisbylowes.com/services/cameras/status

-which has much easier access to streaming, clips and management of recordings.

Also recomend Iris Web Portal at http://iriswebportal.com/ - whilst the dashboard has many of the same features addressed equally well, this tool does have a history download capability which i find brilliant for analysing the last 1,000 events in excell. See ;  http://iriswebportal.com/history.html
