Re: First Alert smoke alarm and co dropping connection

I've been having the same issue with one of mine. But come to find out mine is one of the original ones I bought when they system first hit the market, and is about at its lifespan. I don't know how old yours are, but if close to 10 years old they should be replaced. That is basically the lifespan for them. I'm planning on replacing mine. The newer ones I have don't have that issue. I even moved them around in the house since one of my walls is CMU block. The newer ones don't have issues with it. Hopefully this answers your question.

Re: First Alert smoke alarm and co dropping connection

First post. I have a few questions or observations. I didn't know that smart plugs are repeaters. Good to know. My smoke detectors work fine. Is there a smoke/co detector that is hardwired that works on iris. Another new hub. Really.
