Iris does NOT support Yale Assure Lock SL (YRD256)

Yale and it's dealers (PC Richard) advertise the Yale YRD256 as compatible with Iris. However, after purchasing, I discovered that although it pairs it doesn't work. It shows as 'unknown' and 'uncertified' in Iris and lacks the lock controls. The Iris support site does include a list of supported Yale locks, excluding the newer YRD256. Iris phone support confirmed the incompatibility.

I intend to contact Yale to notify them of their error and request that they update there website and dealers to indicate that their new lock is NOT supported by Iris.

Perhaps timeline applies? They might have finished integration testing with Iris, but Iris hasn't pushed the updates to support it.

This is a place where documenting upcoming integrations would really be useful @Iris

I am curious to know if you were able to get the YRD256 working. I have been looking to buy one of these for use with IRIS for months. The IRIS App shows support for this device AND tech service assures me that it is fully supported, but I am extremely skeptical.

Thanks,

Brian
